This year we have new hours. We want to be sure and have the field available to our friends that leave work at 5 or 6pm. So it's 8am - 7pm 7 days a week this year. Monday June 4th, tomorrow morning, is our opening day. The fields are full of yummy berries. The blessed rain we received over the weekend really went into making the strawberries bigger and juicier. All of us finished the day together with dinner and a new version of strawberry shortcake. Grammy decided to put the berries over strawberry cake this time just to see what everyone thought. It was pretty tasty. Yet, I think all of us are really looking forward to our first authentic old fashioned strawberry shortcake. Mine will be piled high with fat berries and juice flooding my plate. Two giant spoonfuls of whipped cream to top it off.

Strawberry Fields is Getting Ready for You!

 

Strawberry Fields Farm will be OPEN this Sunday June 3rd at 8am until 8pm. We will be open 7 days a week from 8-8. We have over 4 acres of strawberries for picking. We do take orders for fresh picked. The price for U-Pick Strawberries is $1.40 per pound and Fresh Picked Strawberries (We-Pick) are $3.25 per pound. We are taking orders.
