We have a long list of things that need to be done. However, as long as the rain keeps coming we have to patiently wait. The kids are loving the mud and the puddles. Nothing like a Memorial Weekend of trudging barefoot through the water making memories!
The planter is ready, for the next batch of roots. Dave Daisy of Daisy Farms in Dowagiac Michigan was generous and sent us home with 400 new Everbearing roots to try. As soon as the sun cooperates, the field will be filling up with 20,000 new berry roots and we will be back on schedule. I'm thinking we will be picking and planting at the same time this year.
